We do this work because we have lived it

One DEI Consulting is a racialized, neurodivergent, women-led equity firm based in Toronto, grounded in anti-oppression, intersectionality, and systems transformation.

We understand the structural, historical, and emotional realities of this work because we have lived them. That perspective shapes everything we build with you.

Lived experience, professional expertise, real change

Alongside lived perspective, our team brings over 40 years of combined experience across public service, nonprofits, unions, and advocacy organizations.

We blend lived experience with deep professional expertise to co-create trauma-informed, intersectional DEIA strategies, policy reviews, toolkits, and training. Our approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and designed to deliver measurable, sustainable change rooted in your organization’s reality.

Thriving employees build successful organizations.

We work with our clients to build diverse, equitable, inclusive, accessible, and anti-racist organizations where everyone can thrive. By changing systems, not just surface behaviours, we help create workplaces where people can bring their authentic selves to work.

We value respect and dignity for every person in the workplace.

These values guide our work from the first conversation to the final recommendation, and they shape every strategy we build.

We are a certified diverse supplier

One DEI Consulting is a CAMSC Certified Supplier, verified by the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council as a diverse, minority-owned business.

For organizations with supplier diversity goals, this has a practical benefit: working with us can count toward your diverse spend commitments. It means the firm you bring in to build a more equitable workplace reflects that same commitment in how it is owned and run.
